I don't generally recommend movies as there are so few that I think are very well made anymore, but today I watched a little gem of a movie titled "The Holiday". I think there is something for everyone in this romantic comedy/love story. Even if this is not your favorite genre, it is hard not to notice at least one of the ensemble cast: Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black. The DVD cover states that this movie is from the director of "What Women Want" and "Something's Gotta Give".
I rarely rent movies. This one, as all of the others I have seen for at least a year now are from the local library, where they can be checked out for free. If you get the chance, pop the DVD in and let me know what you think!

I reviewed it here when it first opened--I don't think it was a favorable review but I do know I have no interest in seeing again--and I love romantic comedies!
I enjoyed it for the most part. I would say that Cameron Diaz' and Jude Laws' characters talked too much, but I could identify some with Kate Winslet's character.
I'll check it out! I can watch anything once and find something I enjoy in it and I have a lot of time on my hands from time to time!
I liked the movie pretty much. It was a cute story.
